Angela Goncalves is a recent graduate of California State University Monterey Bay where she majored in Collaborative Health and Human Services with an interdisciplinary concentration in Community Health and Public Administration and Nonprofit Management. She is a dedicated individual passionate about health care. She is a volunteer at the Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula (CHOMP) in the Emergency Department and Auxiliary Office. She also has an internship with the City of Pacific Grove in the Community Development Department. At her internship some of the tasks she completed were assisting in a Housing Element update which is required by State law, applying for two grants and receiving funds for $228,207 for the City. She was the 2023 Human Services Award Recipient from the LIVE United awards ceremony. She is a new member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and is looking forward to continuing serving the community she was born and raised in through the Emerging Leaders Society.
